The Wanderkamera is a self-built, wooden large format camera. I put it up in public space and portray the pass-byer. The pass-byer gets to keep their portrait after I have developed it in an improvised darkroom on the spot. The Wanderkamera and I have been travelling together since 2018, visiting art and cultural events like 48h Neukölln, Chaos Computer Congress, Fusion, Garbicz, Meeresrausch, Bucht der Träumer and many more.
